FULLY waterproof tented dance-floor, FREE hot showers, serviced flush toilets, MASSIVE bonfires in every camping zone & around the dance-floor, The best mountain spring drinking water, fully sheltered forest camping by your vehicle. And the best yet: BRING & BRAAI. We encourage you to bring portable braais to keep away any winter chills! Dry wood will be sold onsite; no ground fires permitted in campsites.

♥ FESTIVAL ACCOMMODATION ♥
★ BUSH CAMP AT JONGENSKLOOF FARM ★
Gently hidden in the lush forest at the Circle of Dreams surrounded by mountain streams is the beautiful Bush Camp. Just 1km from the gate still within Jongenskloof Farm, a perfect spot to get some rest and quiet time from the festival fun. Facilities include a communal house with kitchen, two separate toilets and two hot showers that run off a donkey boiler. Huge veranda/chill space and braai fire place. Swimming pool and power supply run off Hydro power. Linen and fresh fruit snacks will be provided.
6 A-Frame huts – sleeps 2 people per hut
Camping for 10 tents is available on request

Belle Tent Village is spacious and has a funky vibe. Very comfortable 3 sleeper tents come with mattress, sheet, pillows and small table. Parking is very close to tents with around the clock security. Contact Philippe for more info: belletents@gmail.com

At the Circle of Dreams, we celebrate life; we unite and create a special magic. Only we are responsible for our future on this beautiful planet, it is up to us to create a sustainable future together. Most of us know the struggles that our planet faces due to waste – this is one of the many reasons why we recycle waste from the festival.
With this in mind, we ask that you take special care in the way you handle your waste at Vortex. Always use the bins provided, and keep the camping and festival areas as clean as possible. Remember cigarettes butts are litter too!!!
We want to cherish and love this special venue as it has loved us, so help us make a difference, LEAVE NO TRACE!
♥ GENERAL INFO ♥ NO ID NO ENTRANCE ♥
★ A cash-back service at the bar is available for you to draw cash – a small fee will be charged.
★ No glass is permitted on the venue. Please decant your drinks into plastic bottles before you come.
★ The Info Station – You will find the Info Station behind the main toilet block. Here you can hand in or collect lost property, get extra rubbish bags, ask for advice or information and report any incidents.

★ Donations – Every event Vortex supports a different charity, so please drop off your donations, no matter how big or small, at the InfoStation and help support local charity initiatives! Be the change your wish to see in the world!
★ Safety is our top priority at Vortex and with that in mind, we have started an initiative with the local police at the Riviersonderend Police Department to get them involved with our security team at the festival to help curb crime. Although due care is always taken to keep party-goers safe, unfortunately festivals are easy targets for theft and petty crime, so please leave your valuables at home. For anything you need to have with you, keep it LOCKED IN YOUR CAR! Remember to look out for your friends and camping neighbours!
★ We have partnered up with PsyCare for our events. It is a Volunteer based Psychedelic Support and Harm Reduction Initiative serving the Trance community. We do not advocate the taking of substances but know that substances are taken in the festival environment. Often people are out of their depth and need assistance. The members of this group volunteer to help in a safe and secure manner. This is basically a Psychedelic First Aid Service…
★ We are also partnering up with the SADD – South Africans Against Drunk Driving for our events. We have lost to me comrades in life because of alcohol and drunk driving. Please party responsibly and don’t drive to or from the festival drunk! The venue is still open till the day after the festival and the extra night camping is at no extra cost. Please make sure you take the time to rest and sober up before returning home after the festival. It is not only your life at stake but your friends and other people on the roads as well. Don’t gamble with human life, it is far too precious to throw away for a festival!
