Following on from the Owl Medicine album and inspired by the Caracal, locally known as the Rooikat which lives in the Table Mountain region of Cape Town where the Sadhu finds great musical inspiration, Tales of the Red Cat engages the listener on a journey of mystical sonic refinement.

Through a delicate blend of live instruments, uplifting production with electronic analog and digital sounds, the Red Cat spins his Ancestors tales of disco dub drone, echoes of cosmic psy-blues, foot-tapping soul-filled guitar rifts culminating in deep desert techno illusions before giving way to meditative thanks for all beings large and small, near and far.
